Anker soundcore has launched the Liberty 5 Pro wireless earbuds in the GCC region, featuring a custom-designed silicon chip for on-device neural-net audio processing.
This new hardware platform, co-developed with Anker, delivers a 150-fold increase in artificial intelligence computing power compared to the brand’s previous flagship model. Consequently, the device processes complex audio tasks directly on the hardware without relying on external cloud servers.
Launch of the Liberty 5 Pro in the GCC
The new series includes a ten-sensor matrix, eight microphones, and two bone conduction sensors. These components work together to isolate the speaker’s voice from ambient noise in real time. Specifically, the bone conduction sensors detect physical skull vibrations to capture speech clearly even in quiet environments. As a result, the device secured a Guinness World Record for speech quality in the true wireless stereo category.
Audio Processing and Noise Cancellation
The manufacturer integrated its Adaptive ANC 4.0 technology, which utilizes the eight-microphone array to monitor noise. This system processes environmental audio up to 384,000 times per second to adjust the noise cancellation curve. Furthermore, the technology provides up to two times deeper noise cancellation than the previous Liberty 4 Pro model. It targets a wide range of frequencies, including low-frequency engine sounds and high-frequency office conversations.
For personalized audio, the earbuds use HearID 5.0 to create a custom equalizer profile based on a hearing test. Additionally, an integrated sound enhancement system restores up to 65% of the audio details lost during Bluetooth compression. The earbuds support high-resolution wireless audio via Bluetooth 6.1.
Smart Charging Case and Translation Features
The Max version introduces a 1.78-inch AMOLED display on the charging case, which controls an integrated note-taking tool. This system records conversations, generates transcripts, identifies speakers, and extracts action items through the companion mobile application. Meanwhile, the standard Liberty 5 Pro features a 0.96-inch TFT touchscreen on its case for basic control functions.
On-device translation supports more than 100 languages without requiring an active internet connection. On the standard model, translation plays through the earbuds, while the Max version displays the text on its case screen. This feature is designed to assist business professionals who communicate across multiple languages, such as Arabic, English, Hindi, and Urdu.
Battery Performance and Regional Availability
The battery delivers up to 6.5 hours of playback with active noise cancellation enabled, extending to 28 hours with the case. When noise cancellation is turned off, playback reaches 12 hours individually and 50 hours with the charging case. Notably, a five-minute fast charge provides four hours of playback, and the system supports wireless charging.
