Professional Background and Enterprise Experience

Prior to joining Kyndryl, Maged Wassim worked at Cognizant as Vice President for the Middle East market. Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President of Technology for a regional retail enterprise, overseeing technical strategy and commercial implementations.

Additionally, he spent 20 years at IBM holding several executive roles, including Vice President of IBM Cloud and Cognitive Software. His work focused on expanding cloud infrastructure, applying corporate data, and executing technology programs across diverse industry sectors.

Academic Credentials and Regional Focus

Regarding his educational background, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Capital University in Cairo, Egypt. Furthermore, he completed a Master of Science in Advanced Manufacturing Systems at Brunel University London in the United Kingdom.
