Meta has officially launched its new AI coding model, Muse Spark 1.1, which is now available to developers through a public API preview. The updated Muse Spark 1.1 model introduces several enhancements based on direct feedback from the developer community. In addition to bug fixing, the model supports end-to-end agentic workflows across various applications, including multi-agent systems. It also features native multimodal perception, allowing it to process images, videos, and documents. Users can access the model in “Thinking mode” through the Meta AI application and website. This allows for more complex reasoning during the software development process, making it easier to analyze visual assets alongside code.
Developer API and Free Credits
The technology is accessible through the new Meta Model API, which entered public preview today for developers based in the United States. To encourage adoption of Muse Spark 1.1, Meta is providing 20 dollars in free credits for every new API account. This allows developers to test the integration of the model into their existing apps and software development tools.
