The Nicolas Sibuet Aramex appointment marks a significant leadership move as Nicolas Sibuet has been appointed Chief Financial and Corporate Development Officer at Aramex, effective 8 May 2026, according to an announcement from the logistics company. The appointment follows Sibuet’s 12-month tenure as Acting CEO at the Dubai-based firm.
Sibuet brings more than 30 years of international leadership across finance, corporate strategy, restructuring, and large-scale transformation. In his new role, he will lead enterprise-wide financial and strategic priorities to support sustainable growth and long-term value creation at the logistics and transportation company.
Leadership Experience and Track Record
Since joining Aramex in 2022 as Group Chief Financial Officer, Sibuet has strengthened the company’s financial foundations and enhanced transparency in reporting and governance. During his year as Acting CEO, he demonstrated leadership in driving transformation and building operational momentum across the organization.
Amadou Diallo, Group Chief Executive Officer at Aramex, commented on the appointment. “Nicolas is a transformation leader with the financial discipline and strategic perspective we need as Aramex focuses on performance, resilience, and customer-led innovation,” Diallo said. “He brings experience across complex, asset-intensive industries and a track record of strengthening governance, elevating reporting standards, and building high-performing teams.”
Strategic Priorities and Responsibilities
In his new position, Sibuet will oversee enterprise-wide financial and strategic priorities, including business development, value creation across enablement functions, financial planning and performance management, and strategic transformation. He will work closely with the Group CEO and Executive Leadership Team to support initiatives that strengthen operational efficiency and enhance decision-making.
Sibuet outlined his priorities for the role. “Aramex sits at the centre of the world’s most dynamic trade corridors, and customer expectations continue to rise for speed, visibility, reliability, and smarter cost-to-serve,” he stated. “My priority is to ensure we allocate capital with clarity and intent, accelerate initiatives that strengthen our network, and embed performance management to enable disciplined execution across the Group.”
