Global technology services provider NTT DATA announced its plans for NTT DATA LEAP 2026, scheduled to take place in Riyadh from August 31 to September 3, 2026. During the event, the company will present its digital transformation portfolio alongside intelligent infrastructure technologies. Specifically, the exhibits will cover sovereign AI, agentic systems, smart buildings, digital twins, robotics, and cloud management platforms.
Under the theme “Cities that Think: How AI is Reshaping the Future of Urban Life,” the firm plans to demonstrate how digital platforms convert urban centers into adaptive environments. Consequently, municipal systems can use connected data to predict community needs and improve municipal services across the region. Visitors can explore these developments directly in the artificial intelligence domain.
Expanding Regional Capabilities and Investments
NTT DATA continues to expand its technology investments across the Middle East and Africa. Notably, the firm recently completed the acquisition of Zero&One, which strengthened its local technical capacity and cloud delivery operations. This expansion supports regional initiatives by integrating enterprise tools with cybersecurity systems and hybrid cloud architectures.
“2026 is Saudi Arabia’s Year of AI. Backed by a $40 billion fund and a $135 billion GDP ambition by 2030, KSA is redefining what intelligent cities look like. At LEAP, we are showing how sovereign AI, agentic AI and connected data platforms help cities move from connected to being truly intelligent.”
Burcak Soydan, Managing Director, NTT DATA Middle East
Strategic Focus for NTT DATA LEAP 2026
The company aims to align its technology portfolio with national objectives in Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, corporate teams will work with public institutions to deploy operational systems linked to the broader economy.
“Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 has set a bold roadmap for AI-enabled cities and public services and LEAP is where ambition meets execution. This year, our leadership teams will be engaging with government leaders, clients and partners to showcase real-world AI innovations, strengthen strategic collaborations and help translate national AI priorities into tangible outcomes across Saudi Arabia.”
