OMODA & JAECOO UAE operations have recorded over 3,000 vehicle sales within one year of entering the market, as the two Chery Group brands approach a cumulative global total of one million units sold across 64 countries.
Global sales reached 61,254 vehicles in March 2026, the highest monthly figure the brands have posted to date. That result marks year-on-year growth of 417 percent, driven largely by new energy vehicles, which accounted for 39,716 of the units sold during the month.
Seven Showrooms Planned Across the UAE
The brands currently operate six showrooms in the UAE, with locations in Abu Dhabi (two), Dubai, Sharjah, Fujairah, and Ras Al Khaimah. A seventh facility is set to open later this month on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, operated by Autorun OJC Car Trading LLC, the official Dubai dealer, in partnership with Oasis Mall.
The new Sheikh Zayed Road showroom will be the dealer’s second location in the emirate. The company said the site was chosen to improve customer access and provide a dedicated space for visitors to view the current model range.
OMODA & JAECOO UAE Hybrid Strategy Targets Local Conditions
A central element of the brands’ regional approach is the SHS (Super Hybrid System), which combines plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and hybrid electric (HEV) technologies. The system is designed to deliver extended driving range and higher fuel efficiency for both city driving and long-distance travel in the Gulf climate.
Three models carry the SHS configuration in the current lineup: the JAECOO J7 SHS, the JAECOO J8 SHS, and the OMODA C7 SHS. The company said these vehicles offer fuel savings of up to 50 percent compared with conventional alternatives, a factor it considers relevant given fluctuating fuel prices in the region.
“Within just one year of operations in the UAE, OMODA & JAECOO have recorded over 3,000 vehicle sales, reflecting strong market demand and growing trust in the brand’s technology-driven line-up.”

Jebel Ali Parts Hub Supports After-Sales Network
To support after-sales operations across the UAE and the wider GCC, the brands have established a spare parts facility in Jebel Ali, Dubai. The warehouse covers 12,000 square metres and holds more than 20,000 individual components, intended to reduce wait times for parts across the dealer network.
The automotive brands said the Jebel Ali hub is a direct response to the growth in their regional customer base and the need to maintain consistent service standards as the network expands.
April Summit to Feature New Technology and Long-Range Test
Later in April, OMODA & JAECOO plan to present new developments at the Chery International Business Summit. Items on the agenda include VPD technology, the Mornine AiMOGA robotics platform, and the new O4 model. In addition, a long-distance hybrid vehicle test covering nine countries will be conducted to assess real-world range, efficiency, and stability.
The brands’ global cumulative sales stood at more than 960,000 units as of the announcement date, with the one-million mark expected to be reached in the near term based on current monthly sales rates. March 2026 marked the third consecutive month of accelerating sales growth since the start of the year, building on what the company described as a strong 2025 performance.
