According to the 2026 Genetec State of Physical Security report, which surveyed over 7,300 professionals globally, artificial intelligence is a top priority. However, approximately 70% of end-users expressed concerns regarding how these systems are designed and implemented. Consequently, organizations are advised to target trusted, measurable use cases rather than adopting technology without clear goals.

Rising Budgets for Physical Security

This trend is highly relevant in Saudi Arabia, where investments in modern infrastructure are growing rapidly. Specifically, 43% of Saudi respondents reported increased budgets for their systems in 2025. This rate is nearly double the European, Middle Eastern, and African average of 24%.
