The duo, driving the No. 5 Toyota GR YARIS Rally1, finished the event 19.5 seconds ahead of their teammates. Oliver Solberg and Elliott Edmondson secured second place in the No. 99 car. This result strengthens Toyota’s position in the global automotive racing sector.
Toyota Secures Rally Estonia Victory
The event featured a compact but demanding format near Tartu. Crews completed 301.8 competitive kilometers over a 48-hour period. The route combined wide, fast gravel roads with narrow, sandy sections, which tested the technical capabilities of the vehicles under changing conditions. Consequently, drivers had to adapt their strategies quickly during the second pass of each stage.
Pajari and Salminen established their lead on the opening day by winning all seven stages. This Rally Estonia victory marks a significant milestone for the 24-year-old driver. He maintained a calm approach despite the high-speed nature of the roads. On the second day, the crew extended their lead to 25 seconds after winning three consecutive afternoon stages.
Dominant Performance Across Gravel Stages
Rain threatened to alter the road conditions on the final day of the competition. However, Pajari managed his advantage during the two passes of the 24.39-kilometer Kääriku stage. Meanwhile, Solberg and Edmondson maintained a strong pace to secure second place. They topped both the Super Sunday and Power Stage classifications, earning maximum bonus points for the team.
Akio Toyoda, Chairman of the team, congratulated the drivers on their performance. He stated that the team does not build cars to help only one driver win. Instead, the philosophy focuses on providing equal opportunities for all team members. This approach has supported the development of their automotive technology.

With this Rally Estonia victory, Toyota has extended its lead in the manufacturers’ championship. The team now holds 464 points, establishing a 156-point lead over its competitors.
