LG Electronics secured 27 accolades at the 2026 Red Dot Design Award, including the Best of the Best honor for its wallpaper television.

These honors span multiple product categories. Notably, this success follows the company’s achievement at the 2026 iF Design Award, where it secured 26 accolades.

Red Dot Design Award Highlights

The top honor went to the LG OLED evo W6 Wallpaper TV, which features a nine-millimeter-class profile. This television sits flush against the wall. Consequently, the screen integrates the power supply and speakers, while external inputs connect to a separate Zero Connect Box placed up to 10 meters away. Furthermore, the television received the True Wireless Lossless Vision certification from TÜV Rheinland.

Home Appliance and Audio Recognition

In addition to televisions, the company received awards for several home appliances and home audio systems. Specifically, the French door refrigerator with a Zero Clearance hinge system allows for a flush-to-the-wall installation. Meanwhile, the air conditioner features a minimalist design. The modular LG Sound Suite audio system adapts Dolby Atmos sound to the listener and the room. Furthermore, the SKS showroom in Chicago received recognition for its spatial design.

Future Growth and Robotic Solutions

The company’s future-growth businesses also earned recognition for their design competitiveness. For instance, the LG CLOiD home robot assists with household chores, understands voice commands, and displays facial expressions. Additionally, the LG Therma V air-to-water heat pump indoor units, including the Control, Hydro, and Combi units, feature a 6.8-inch color touchscreen interface. Other recognized products include xboom speakers, UltraGear gaming monitors, and LG gram computers.

Corporate Design Strategy

The company plans to maintain its focus on user-centric designs that integrate into living spaces.

“We will continue to develop customer-centric designs that blend naturally into living spaces and enhance user convenience.”

Chung Wook-jun, Head of the Corporate Design Center at LG Electronics

This recognition at the Red Dot Design program highlights the company’s ongoing focus on product aesthetics and usability. In 2025, global revenue exceeded KRW 89 trillion. Moving forward, the manufacturer aims to expand its design philosophy across its premium and intelligent product portfolios globally.
