The newly opened entertainment destination, SEVEN ABHA, continues to welcome visitors following its successful opening festival in the Aseer region. Saudi Entertainment Ventures (SEVEN), a wholly owned subsidiary of Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC), developed the project to expand local leisure options. The destination integrates regional cultural identity with modern attractions to serve families and residents.

The opening festival lasted for five days, showcasing local heritage, traditional crafts, and regional culinary offerings. The Opening Festival Highlights

Local heritage displays formed the core of the five-day celebration, allowing families to engage directly with traditional crafts. Meanwhile, young entrepreneurs from the Aseer region presented their businesses to the public. This community integration aligns with the broader goals of developing regional tourism and cultural preservation.

Available Attractions at SEVEN ABHA

The destination features several dedicated entertainment zones at SEVEN ABHA, including Formula E Karting, Kawaken, and GolFi. In addition, visitors can access Cyber Bowling and Scene Cinemas for movie screenings. These facilities provide diverse recreational choices for different age groups within a single location.

The integration of these activities aims to encourage social interaction and strengthen community connections. Specifically, the venue offers a structured environment where families can participate in shared activities. Consequently, the project supports the overall quality of life in the southern region.

Strategic Investment in Saudi Entertainment

SEVEN is currently developing 14 entertainment destinations across 13 cities in Saudi Arabia. This expansion represents a total investment exceeding SAR 45 billion to build modern leisure infrastructure. Notably, the parent company, Qiddiya Investment Company, aims to position these projects as drivers for local economic development.

The development strategy focuses on bringing global entertainment standards to major urban centers, including Riyadh, Makkah, Jeddah, Taif, Dammam, and Khobar. By establishing these hubs, the company supports the growth of the national economy and tourism sectors. Each project incorporates elements of local culture to maintain regional relevance.

Future Outlook for Regional Tourism

The ongoing operations at SEVEN ABHA mark a step forward in achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. By expanding the local tourism and gaming sectors, the Kingdom aims to diversify its economic base. The destination will continue to operate year-round, providing consistent entertainment options for residents and visitors.

Future phases of the project will focus on sustaining visitor engagement through seasonal events and updated attractions. As a result, the facility is expected to remain a central hub for community gatherings in Aseer. This long-term plan ensures the investment continues to benefit the local community.
