Sumerge HRSD digital transformation efforts reached a milestone on March 1, 2026, as the two organizations celebrated the successful delivery of three national projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The completed projects are the Social Development Platform, the Development of Non-Governmental Residential Care Services for Persons with Disabilities Project, and the Integrated Services Project.
The celebration took place at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development headquarters. Senior leaders from both organizations attended, including Mr. Shady Abdelwahab, CEO of Sumerge, and His Excellency Eng. Faisal Bakhshwein, Deputy Minister for Digital Transformation at HRSD.
Three Projects Delivered Under the Sumerge HRSD Digital Transformation Partnership
Each of the three projects addressed a distinct area of government service delivery. The Social Development Platform streamlined service operations and strengthened engagement with beneficiaries across the Kingdom.
Meanwhile, the Residential Care Services Development Project introduced digital enablement and governance enhancements for non-governmental residential care facilities. The project specifically targeted improved service quality for persons with disabilities.
Furthermore, the Integrated Services Project unified systems and processes across multiple service channels. As a result, coordination between service delivery points became more seamless and efficient.
Alignment with Saudi Vision 2030
The three projects align with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which targets the modernization of government services through technology. Both organizations said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to advancing digital government in the Kingdom.
Sumerge’s leadership, speaking at the event, said the company focuses on delivering technology solutions that create measurable social value alongside operational improvements. The company said this approach guided all three project deliveries.
“This success reflects our belief in technology as a genuine enablement tool that contributes to sustainable social impact.”
