Sungrow Hydrogen has completed sequential shipments of its flexible green hydrogen systems to Oman, Italy, and Brazil, spanning Asia, Europe, and South America. The company said the deliveries demonstrate its capacity to execute multiple international projects simultaneously across different regulatory environments.
Sungrow Hydrogen Supplies 160 MW Electrolyzer Units to Oman
In Oman, Sungrow Hydrogen shipped 160 MW of alkaline water electrolysis (AWE) units as the primary supplier for ACME Group’s green ammonia project. The company said its in-house advanced production management and automated electrolyzer assembly lines supported the delivery. Moreover, the manufacturing system is designed to scale for future gigawatt-level project deployments while maintaining quality standards.
Italy Project Integrates Solar, Storage, and Hydrogen
In Italy, Sungrow Hydrogen shipped a containerized 3 MW proton exchange membrane (PEM) system for the country’s first megawatt-scale off-grid photovoltaic hydrogen production project. The system integrates with solar inverters and battery storage through the company’s HyBrain smart hydrogen management system. Consequently, the integrated PV-storage-hydrogen solution addresses the challenge of coupling variable renewable energy sources with electrolysis in off-grid scenarios.
Brazil Deployment Targets Hydrogen-Gas Blending Trials
In Brazil, Sungrow Hydrogen shipped a containerized flexible electrolysis system designed to withstand significant variations in solar energy input. The system complies with international standards including ASME and ISO 22734, as well as Brazilian local certifications from Inmetro and NR. Furthermore, the company said the system is expected to support hydrogen-natural gas blending trials, contributing to Brazil’s energy transition and commercial hydrogen sector development.
Global Expansion and Future Outlook
Sungrow Hydrogen said its proven track record across these three concurrent international projects confirms its ability to adapt to varying international standards and complex deployment scenarios.
