The newly expanded Trendyol seller program offers substantial fee discounts and operational resources for small and medium-sized enterprises in Saudi Arabia, according to reporting by Okaz.
Under the initiative, new sellers joining the platform receive a 40 percent discount on initial commission fees for their first three months. This offer doubles the standard 20 percent discount and adds an extra month of eligibility compared to previous packages. In addition, the platform launched a dedicated local sellers section on its website to showcase homegrown Saudi brands to digital consumers in the economy.
Fee Reductions Under Trendyol Seller Program
Beyond commission reductions, the initiative provides newly registered businesses with free advertising credits and prioritized account management. Participating merchants also receive improved placement across seasonal marketing campaigns and continuous guidance throughout the product cataloging process. These commercial benefits aim to help local businesses establish their digital presence efficiently across apps and web storefronts.
“We strive at Trendyol to be the supportive partner that accelerates the development of the new generation of Saudi companies and enhances their growth.”
Mohammed Al-Ansari, CEO of Trendyol in the Gulf region
Training Modules and Merchant Education
To build operational capacity, the company structured a three-part educational curriculum for merchants. The foundational level covers core retail mechanics, including inventory tracking, pricing strategies, product listings, and order fulfillment. Meanwhile, advanced coursework focuses on promotional analytics and digital advertising tools. Furthermore, live webinars allow sellers to consult directly with retail specialists on operational adjustments.
Field Assistance Across the Kingdom
In-person support forms a key component of the rollout across Saudi Arabia. Specialized regional teams conduct direct corporate visits to resolve technical inquiries and provide hands-on onboarding guidance. Specifically, merchants can register through the company’s partner portal or coordinate directly with field representatives stationed in various provinces, integrating modern smart devices for point-of-sale and inventory sync.
Regional Operations and Market Growth
The platform entered the Gulf market in late 2023 and has since registered over 15,500 regional merchants. Established in Istanbul in 2010, the company connects more than 250,000 sellers to 40 million customers across multiple European and Middle Eastern markets. Consequently, the expanded Trendyol seller program aligns commercial resources with national objectives under Saudi Vision 2030 to develop the domestic private sector.
