The Vertiv PowerUPS 100 series has been introduced in Europe, Middle East, and Africa to protect essential digital devices. Vertiv, a critical digital infrastructure provider, launched this compact uninterruptible power supply system on June 23, 2026. Consequently, the system helps maintain continuity in distributed digital environments during unexpected power disruptions.
This new series supports desktop and small office applications. Specifically, the 230 V series is available in both lithium-ion and Valve-Regulated Lead-Acid (VRLA) models. Users can deploy these systems to safeguard personal computers, gaming consoles, and smart devices.
Features of the Vertiv PowerUPS 100
The system includes up to eight outlets that combine battery backup and surge protection. Meanwhile, integrated USB-A and USB-C ports provide charging for mobile devices. The compact, wall-mountable design allows for flexible placement in space-constrained environments.
Battery Options and Capacity
The series offers multiple capacity options to suit different applications. Specifically, there are four VRLA models ranging from 500 VA to 900 VA. In addition, a single lithium-ion model is available with a capacity of 350 VA. These options allow users to choose the appropriate level of power protection.
System Management and Software
To extend product lifespan, the systems feature user-replaceable batteries. Furthermore, the series is compatible with Vertiv Power Assist software. This software enables automated, graceful shutdown of connected systems during extended outages. As a result, it helps protect against data loss and equipment damage.
Warranty and Regional Availability
The VRLA configurations are backed by a three-year warranty. Meanwhile, the lithium-ion models include a five-year warranty. Giuseppe Leto, senior director of IT systems business at Vertiv in EMEA, stated that this series completes the refresh of their desktop single-phase UPS portfolio.
This launch expands the company’s portfolio of power and thermal management solutions. Notably, these systems are designed to support critical infrastructure from the data center to the edge. The compact design is particularly suitable for modern computers and smart devices. Additionally, the systems can protect retail point-of-sale equipment and wireless networks.
