The Waldorf Astoria Diriyah super block project has been officially signed for SAR 2.7 billion, marking a significant milestone in the development of Riyadh’s historic district. Hassan Allam Holding announced that its subsidiary, Hassan Allam Construction Saudi, secured the contract in a joint venture with UCC Saudi. The contract was awarded by the Diriyah Company to develop the mixed-use destination. Consequently, this project represents a major addition to the local hospitality sector.
Project Specifications and Scope
Spanning approximately 241,000 square meters of built-up area, the mixed-use development will bring together several distinct components. Specifically, the project features the 200-key Waldorf Astoria Hotel alongside 47 branded residences. In addition, the site will host commercial and office buildings, an integrated super basement, and a public realm. These facilities are designed to integrate into one of the Kingdom’s most prestigious destinations.

The official signing ceremony for the Waldorf Astoria Diriyah took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on July 28, 2026. Notably, the event was attended by Hassan Allam, Chairman and CEO of Hassan Allam Holding. Meanwhile, Jerry Inzerillo, Group CEO of Diriyah Company, and Samer Ibrahim, CEO of UCC Holding, were also present to formalize the agreement.
