Almarai strategic contracts totaling SAR 276 million were signed during the fifth edition of the International Fisheries Conference and Exhibition held in Riyadh. The leading food and beverage company announced these five strategic agreements as part of its expansion into the seafood sector, reflecting its commitment to diversifying product offerings and enhancing food security in the Kingdom.
The company sponsored the International Fisheries Conference and Exhibition, which was held under the patronage of the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture. The event serves as a specialized platform bringing together government and private entities involved in aquaculture, fisheries, and seafood sectors.
Details of Almarai Strategic Contracts
The contracts were signed with Crete International Contracting Company, CGS Company, Laitram Machinery, Ion Exchanging Limited, and Marel Stofning AS. These agreements aim to establish industrial facilities and production lines at the fish and seafood facility in King Abdullah Economic City in Rabigh, supporting the company’s investment plan to enter this sector and accelerate access to local markets and consumers.
