The Jeel Tamooh program launched its eighth edition in Riyadh to prepare young Saudi professionals for leadership roles in the changing economy.
Boston Consulting Group (BCG) organized the launch event under the theme “Where Your Ambition Shapes” on May 31, 2026. This initiative aims to provide participants with essential skills, structured mentorship, and professional networking opportunities.
Since its launch in 2019, the initiative has supported more than 850 students across Saudi Arabia. Many of these alumni subsequently joined BCG or other prominent organizations within the local economy. Notably, the current cohort includes 150 participants with an equal 50/50 gender split to support diverse leadership development.
Launch of the Eighth Edition
The launch event featured presentations from senior BCG leaders, including remarks from the head of BCG Riyadh, Philippe Cornette de Saint Cyr. In addition, the President and CEO of BCG, Christoph Schweizer, delivered a video message to the attendees. Participants engaged in interactive sessions designed to help them transition from academic learning to practical career planning.
Structure of the Jeel Tamooh program
Omar Hunaidi, Partner at BCG Middle East, stated that investing in talent is a direct way to shape future possibilities. He noted that combining skill development with mentorship creates leaders who can drive real change. Furthermore, Hunaidi highlighted that alumni are already taking on influential roles across dynamic sectors in the Kingdom.

Focus on Future Megatrends
During the event, Project Leader Mariam Ahmed presented a session on future global trends. Specifically, she discussed the impact of artificial intelligence, automation, and geopolitical shifts on the job market. Meanwhile, participants attended a workshop titled “Turning Ambition into Action” to build structured career roadmaps.
Former BCG consultant Noura AlSwailem also shared her professional experiences during a dedicated session. Following this, Nicola Di Menno led a session focused on unlocking individual potential. Consequently, participants learned how to establish clear professional goals and maintain personal accountability.
