Seiko Epson Corporation has established the Epson MENA Regional Headquarters in Riyadh, marking an expansion of its operations across Saudi Arabia and the wider region.
The company has operated in the Saudi market for more than 15 years. This official move supports local commercial operations, enterprise support networks, and collaborations within the education sector.
Strategic Expansion in Riyadh
The Epson MENA Regional Headquarters is located in the Olaya District in Riyadh. The office serves as a central hub for commercial partnerships, customer engagement, and technical services. It operates in coordination with the company’s office in Dubai to maintain operational links across the Middle East, Türkiye, Africa, and Central and West Asia (META-CWA).
Saudi Arabia continues to expand its technological capacity through state-backed digital initiatives and infrastructure projects aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. Epson is aligning its operations with these national priorities by contributing to local technical capabilities and workforce development.
Operations at the Epson MENA Regional Headquarters
Through the Epson MENA Regional Headquarters, the organization coordinates directly with its research and development teams in Japan. This structure allows the company to adapt hardware and software solutions to the specific requirements of regional enterprise clients and government entities.
The company also maintains the Epson Graduate Programme, which started in 2022. The training initiative provides practical skills for Saudi professionals, and three participants have joined Epson’s permanent regional workforce.
Leadership and Regional Management
Ryo Tachimori, Vice President of Business Operations for META-CWA, leads Saudi operations as General Manager. Suat Ozsoy serves as Regional Director, while Husam Alzughayyar serves as Country Manager for Epson Saudi Arabia. Together, they manage commercial strategy, financial performance, and market expansion.

Long-Term Investments and Sustainability
Epson has allocated more than USD 13 million to develop its infrastructure across the META-CWA territories. Between 2022 and 2024, the business increased facilities investment by 28.6% and personnel investment by 45% in regional operations.
Worldwide, the parent group generates annual sales exceeding JPY 1.4 trillion, equivalent to more than USD 8.84 billion. The organization has set environmental targets to achieve carbon-negative operations and eliminate the use of non-renewable resources, including oil and metals, by the year 2050.
