The Epson ReCreators Contest has concluded in Riyadh with three school students receiving awards for creating artwork from recycled materials. This initiative, launched on World Sustainability Day last October, aimed to teach children aged seven to 12 about recycling. Consequently, students from local schools submitted various designs made from discarded items.

Long-Term Sustainability Goals

Epson stated that its global strategy focuses on environmental awareness through precise innovation. Therefore, the company aims to become carbon negative and eliminate the use of exhaustible underground resources by 2050. This long-term commitment aligns with global environmental standards.

The worldwide Epson Group, led by Seiko Epson Corporation, generates annual sales exceeding JPY 1 trillion. In addition, the regional division, Epson META-CWA, delivers these solutions to more than 80 countries. The Epson ReCreators Contest represents one of many local initiatives supporting these global sustainability targets.
