Hisense TV shipments reached a 57.1% global share in the 100-inch-and-above segment in 2025, according to data published by market research firm Omdia. The figures mark the third consecutive year the Chinese electronics manufacturer has held the top position in that category, covering 2023 through 2025.
In the laser TV segment, Hisense maintained its global number-one position for a seventh consecutive year. The company recorded a 70.3% global market share in that category during 2025, according to the same Omdia data.
Hisense TV Shipments Driven by RGB MiniLED Technology
Hisense attributed its sustained market position to long-term investment in display technologies, specifically RGB MiniLED. The company said it originated the RGB MiniLED technology and led its development from early research through large-scale commercial deployment. Hisense stated the technology delivers advantages in color accuracy, brightness control, and viewing comfort on large-format screens.
An Omdia summary report covering CES 2026 identified RGB MiniLED televisions as a primary growth driver for the industry’s next phase. The report projected rapid expansion beginning in 2026, reflecting broader industry movement toward display technologies where Hisense holds an established position.
Full Display Technology Portfolio
Hisense said it is the only brand that holds a complete smart devices display technology portfolio spanning RGB MiniLED, TriChroma Laser, and MicroLED. The company stated this positions it to pursue a broad approach to next-generation visual innovation across product lines.
CES 2026 Product Showcases
At CES 2026, Hisense presented the 116UXS, which the company described as the first television powered by RGB MiniLED evo technology. The company also displayed the UR8 and UR9 RGB MiniLED television lineups alongside the Laser Projector XR10. Hisense said all products received multiple awards at the CES 2026 event.
Market Context and Outlook
The large-screen television market continues to expand as consumer demand for premium home viewing experiences grows. Hisense’s consecutive-year dominance in both the 100-inch-plus and laser TV segments positions the company as a significant force in the premium display space heading into 2026 and beyond.
Hisense is headquartered in Qingdao, China, and operates across consumer electronics and home appliances globally. The company said it aims to set visual standards for the next generation of large-format displays worldwide through continued leadership in key display technology transitions.
