The HUAWEI WATCH KIDS X1 lineup is officially available for pre-order across Saudi Arabia starting September 10, 2026. The new device comes equipped with a 1.82-inch AMOLED wide screen and a flippable, rotating structure designed specifically for young users. Pricing for the series starts at 999 SAR through official Huawei stores and authorized retail partners.
Design Features of HUAWEI WATCH KIDS X1
The smartwatch showcases an armored design with a metallic finish and light mechanical aesthetics. Furthermore, the 1.82-inch AMOLED display supports 360-degree rotation alongside vertical flipping, allowing flexible viewing angles. Parents can choose between the standard edition in Blue or Pink with dual-color silicone straps, or the Pro model in Black and Purple.
The Pro model introduces a detachable body that converts into a standalone pocket camera when paired with an included protective case and neck lanyard. Consequently, children can capture moments comfortably while keeping the hardware protected during daily use in the smart devices sector.

Safety Systems and Location Tracking
Safety remains central to the hardware capabilities. The device offers indoor and outdoor positioning so guardians can monitor location coordinates via the FamCare companion application. In addition, communications management features automatically block unknown incoming phone calls while forwarding unverified text messages directly to parents for screening.
Guardians must approve all contact addition requests before children can message new acquaintances. Meanwhile, the integrated Class Mode disables entertainment tools during school sessions, displaying only clock information while keeping SOS emergency lines active for designated contacts in the education environment.

Camera Capabilities and Visual Tools
Photography hardware includes a 5 MP front camera along with a 13 MP rear sensor. The software provides dedicated night capture, timed shooting, and high-definition photo modes. Moreover, children have access to 14 filters, over 100 stickers, and more than 100 creative presets, alongside two-way HD video calling that integrates with mobile networks in telecommunications.
Regulatory Compliance and Market Availability
The device complies with the standards of the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) and the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO). The standard model retails from 999 SAR, while the Pro version is listed at 1299 SAR in the Kingdom. Both products expand Huawei’s presence in family-focused hardware in mobile devices.
