The HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 headlined a global product launch event held in Munich, Germany, introducing several new consumer devices. During the presentation, Huawei announced new additions across its lineup of smart wearables, tablets, smartphones, and audio gear. The hardware updates focus on outdoor sports tracking, health management, and mobile productivity.
Advanced Sports Features on the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7
Available in 46 mm and 41 mm sizes alongside a Pro model, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 introduces wrist-based turn detection and G-Force tracking. The Pro version utilizes a nano-tech ceramic bezel and a titanium alloy frame to improve device durability during outdoor activities. In addition, the series incorporates a new EasyCross strap design.
For cyclists, the updated software offers slope alerts, route planning for climbing, and sharp-turn warnings. AI-powered cycling insights will arrive in a subsequent over-the-air firmware update, connecting with the broader smart devices portfolio. Health metrics also received updates, including physical readiness scores and structured wellness recommendations.
European Return of the Flagship Watch Series
Following a one-year pause, the HUAWEI WATCH 6 Series returned to European markets. The watch supports standalone voice calls, navigation services, and mobile payments. Health tracking tools on the device now feature updated Health Glance, Health Insights, and Healthy Living utilities for daily fitness monitoring.
Health Monitoring Upgrades and Blood Pressure Tracking
Huawei also announced the HUAWEI WATCH D3 to expand its wrist-worn medical and health tech offerings. The updated unit supports pre- and post-exercise blood pressure measurements directly from the wrist. Furthermore, automated reminders help users schedule blood pressure checks at regular intervals throughout the day.
New Tablets, Audio Gear, and Smartphones
Alongside wearables, Huawei showcased the HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12-inch tablet, which measures 4.7 mm in thickness and weighs 454 grams. The tablet features a flexible OLED PaperMatte display, stylus air gestures, and artificial intelligence tools for handwriting enhancement and speech-to-text conversion. Huawei also introduced the HUAWEI FreeBuds Neo series earbuds and revealed the HUAWEI nova 16s mobile devices with upgraded portrait photography systems.
Upcoming Availability in Saudi Arabia
The launch event concluded with the international opening of the annual GoPaint competition, which includes a new Easy Creation category for digital art. Consumers can expect the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 alongside the other newly announced hardware to reach the Saudi market in the coming period.
