The JETOUR T1 PHEV enters the light off-road vehicle segment equipped with the company’s fifth-generation hybrid technology, delivering a combined system output of 250 kilowatts and 510 Newton-meters of torque. The launch follows strong global momentum for the T Series, which surpassed 300,000 units in worldwide sales during 2025 alone.

JETOUR T1 PHEV Off-Road Capability

The vehicle pairs a 1.5 TDI dedicated hybrid engine with an electric motor to produce its combined output figures. High torque at low speeds enables sharper response during starts, low-speed crawling, and navigation across complex terrain. Moreover, the system improves ride smoothness and cabin quietness in off-road conditions.

The T1 PHEV achieves approach and departure angles of 28 degrees, a ground clearance of 190 mm, and a wading depth of 600 mm. In addition, precise motor torque control contributes to greater traction and stability on light off-road surfaces.

Hybrid System Efficiency and Range

The hybrid system adapts to multiple driving scenarios to meet the varied commuting needs of urban users. During daily urban commutes, the T1 PHEV operates on pure electric power for approximately 90 percent of city driving conditions, consequently reducing daily operating costs. For longer and more complex journeys, the electric motor and combustion engine work together to maintain optimal efficiency across varying speeds and road conditions.

JETOUR describes the system’s operating principle as “electricity when needed, fuel when needed,” positioning the vehicle as an economical and flexible mobility option for a range of users.

Vehicle-to-Load Power and Camping Utility

The T1 PHEV carries a 26.7 kWh battery that supports vehicle-to-load power output and stationary air conditioning. The smart energy system allows users to stop and rest at any point during a journey, providing stable power supply independent of external infrastructure. This capability extends the vehicle’s utility beyond transportation into outdoor leisure and camping scenarios.

Furthermore, the stationary power functions enable comfort features that conventional vehicles cannot replicate in remote locations, making post-adventure rest more practical for users.

Market Positioning and T Series Context

JETOUR positions the T1 PHEV within its broader “Travel+” lifestyle strategy, combining light off-road mobility with external power support and enhanced stationary comfort. The T Series has established a presence in global markets, with the 300,000-unit sales milestone in 2025 reflecting sustained demand for the lineup. The T1 PHEV builds on this foundation by adding plug-in hybrid capability to the series for the first time.

“With the dual emphasis on electricity when needed and fuel when needed, the T1 PHEV offers users a more economical and liberated travel experience.”
