LG SIGNATURE appliances took center stage at the 2026 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS), where LG Electronics presented an expanded portfolio of premium home solutions in Orlando, Florida, from February 17 to 19. The exhibit covered kitchen and laundry categories, featuring the SKS brand, and the ThinQ AI and ThinQ Pro platforms.
LG SIGNATURE Marks 10 Years with Three Design Collections
Now in its 10th year, LG SIGNATURE extended its kitchen lineup to cover 10 product categories. The brand presented three distinct design collections: Iconic, Tailored, and Seamless. Each collection reflects regional lifestyle preferences in North America while maintaining a minimal design identity.
The Iconic Collection features color palettes popular in luxury condominiums. The Tailored Collection offers customization options across materials and finishes. The Seamless Collection, developed in collaboration with Italian luxury living brand Poliform, blends into a wide range of interior styles with a subtle aesthetic.
SKS Enters the Laundry Category for the First Time
LG introduced the SKS brand’s first laundry solution at KBIS 2026. The new 29-inch SKS WashCombo and SKS Dryer incorporate AI-driven fabric-care technologies and can be paired to create a fully integrated laundry setup. The SKS brand positions itself around what it calls a “Technicurean” whole-home living concept.
The SKS kitchen lineup also expanded with the 36-inch Integrated Column Freezer and Column Refrigerator, which automatically adjust cooling and ice production based on usage patterns. A new SKS Hidden Induction Island System features an invisible induction cooktop and a downdraft hood. The 36-inch Full-Flex induction cooktop, with two extended cooking zones supporting cookware up to 12.6 inches, was also on display.
Core Tech Components and AI Platform Drive Performance
LG’s laundry solutions use proprietary Dual Inverter Heat Pump technology and an Artificial Intelligence Direct Drive (AI DD) motor. The Zero Clearance hinge in LG’s Fit and Max refrigerators allows flexible installation with a flush-to-the-wall fit. These component technologies underpin the performance claims across the displayed product range.
The ThinQ AI platform, which includes the ThinQ ON AI Home hub and the ThinQ UP and ThinQ Care services, connects smart devices across the home. LG said its LG Shield cybersecurity system helps protect personal data within the AI Home setup while enabling personalized settings.
Builder Market Gets Dedicated Appliance Packages and ThinQ Pro
LG presented appliance packages aimed at North American residential developers, including compact kitchen and laundry solutions and double-configured Styler packages. The ThinQ Pro platform, designed for B2B customers, supports integrated system operation through QR-based setup and centralized device monitoring.
“We are redefining the home experience across luxury, premium and mainstream segments by combining design sophistication, AI intelligence and seamless platform integration.”
Steve Baek, President, LG Home Appliance Solution Company
Baek added that LG will continue to strengthen its position in the North American B2B appliance market through its built-in appliance portfolio and builder-focused offerings. LG’s booth at KBIS 2026 was located at #W2100 in the Orange County Convention Center.
