The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has activated the Masar Nusuk platform to streamline pilgrim services before arrival in the Kingdom. The integrated digital system connects contracting procedures, operational activities, and visa processing within a unified infrastructure, reflecting the scope of digital transformation in Hajj services and its link to journey readiness from initial stages.

The Masar Nusuk platform automates all Hajj-related procedures, reducing processing time and enhancing execution efficiency. The system enables early completion of multiple requirements through approved digital channels. The ministry established a clear digital timeline beginning with camp data provision and transfer to the electronic wallet, followed by contracting, uploading pilgrim data, and group formation, culminating in visa issuance and completion of pre-arrival readiness information.

Nusuk Application Reaches 51 Million Users

The Nusuk application, one of the ministry’s primary digital tools, expanded its user base significantly this year. The platform serves more than 51 million users from around the world, offering access to over 100 digital services. Users from outside the Kingdom represent 60% of the total user base, enhancing the application’s ability to reach pilgrims before arrival and enabling them to explore services and permits through a unified digital interface.

Smart Sensors and Crowd Management Technology

The ministry activated a system of sensors and smart readers for the Nusuk Card for the first time during this year’s Hajj season. The technology manages crowd movement, monitors operational activities, tracks real-time pilgrim flows, and predicts future behavioral patterns. This system contributes to raising the efficiency of crowd management and enhancing smooth movement between the holy sites.

Digital Integration Across Government Agencies

The digital solutions extend their impact by promoting integration between related government entities. The interconnected system raises coordination efficiency, accelerates service delivery, and supports pilgrim readiness from the beginning of their journey until arrival in the Kingdom. The approach reflects the ministry’s direction toward building a more efficient and streamlined experience for pilgrims.
