The Organizing Committee for the Saudi Automotive Sector Award has officially announced the extension of the nomination period for its 14th edition in 2026. This decision provides a broader opportunity for various stakeholders across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to submit their entries for the upcoming cycle.
According to the committee, the extension aims to give automotive dealers a better chance to enter the competition. Notably, this is highly relevant following the recent launch of several new vehicle models in the Saudi market. Consequently, dealers expressed a strong desire to include these newly released models in the official nominations.
Extension of the Nomination Period
In addition to automotive dealers, the extension allows interested individuals from outside the traditional automotive sector to apply. Specifically, these independent participants can now nominate themselves for the special awards category. This inclusive approach ensures a diverse range of participants in the 14th edition of the event.
Categories of the Saudi Automotive Sector Award
This year, the Saudi Automotive Sector Award features eight diverse categories to recognize various achievements. These divisions cover conventional vehicles, electric vehicles (EVs), and achievements in motorsport, among other sectors. In total, the organizing committee will present up to 24 distinct awards to the winners.
Timeline and Public Voting Phase
The promotional campaign for the current edition originally commenced in May 2026, building on previous iterations. Meanwhile, the organizing committee plans to announce the complete shortlist of nominees in mid-July 2026. This announcement will be made through the official website of the Saudi Automotive Sector Award to ensure transparency.
Following the publication of the shortlist, the general public will be invited to participate in the voting process. Ultimately, the final winners will be revealed and honored during a formal closing ceremony scheduled for mid-November 2026.

The 14th edition of the event is held with the support of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF). Furthermore, the initiative operates under the strategic sponsorship of “GP” Finance. This collaboration highlights the ongoing development of the local transport and economy sectors in the Kingdom.
