Saudi Entertainment Ventures announced the opening of SEVEN Abha, its first entertainment destination in the Aseer region.
The official opening ceremony will take place on August 5, 2026. His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Aseer, will inaugurate the project. This project supports the strategy of the Public Investment Fund to develop the domestic entertainment and sports sector. Consequently, it aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. Abdullah Al Dawood, Chairman of SEVEN, stated that the launch represents a milestone for the company. He noted that the destination introduces a new model for entertainment-led projects.
Visitor Experience at SEVEN Abha
The development of SEVEN Abha connects the local airport with cultural and tourism sites. Specifically, the location sits within the Abha International Airport cluster, allowing visitors to explore the region immediately upon arrival. Furthermore, the project integrates with the Living Heritage of Aseer initiative.

Visitors to SEVEN Abha can access activities such as Formula E Karting and Cyber Bowling. In addition, the venue features local concepts like Kawaken, GolFi, and Scene Cinema. These attractions aim to provide diverse options for families and individuals.
Five Days of Cultural Celebrations
A week of promotional activations across the city will precede the official public opening. Following this, the venue will host five days of themed celebrations, with each day focusing on a specific aspect of local heritage. For example, the first day, Aseer Roots, highlights traditional crafts.
Meanwhile, the second day features local entrepreneurs under the theme Makers of the Peaks. The remaining days include Family Peaks, Taste of Aseer, and Aseer Nights. These events combine interactive workshops, culinary experiences, and community performances.

Strategic Expansion in Saudi Arabia
The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Qiddiya Investment Company. Currently, the organization is executing a broader plan to build 14 entertainment destinations across 13 cities in the Kingdom. Notably, the total investment for this expansion exceeds SAR 45 billion.
Future Outlook and Investment
The planned destinations will open in major cities including Riyadh, Makkah, Jeddah, and Taif. Additionally, developments are underway in Dammam and Khobar. The company aims to establish high global standards in each location to support local economic development while preserving Saudi culture.
