Kaspersky has updated its Threat Intelligence Reporting service to convert static documents into an interactive portal. This update allows security teams to access data directly within the Kaspersky Threat Intelligence Portal to improve cybersecurity operations. Consequently, analysts can view charts and visual data inline without downloading files.

The service provides structured access to a library of over 2,000 exclusive reports published to date. Previously, these reports were only available as static PDF files. Meanwhile, the standard PDF download option remains available for offline use.

Interactive Portal Integration

The update introduces deeper integration within each report. Specifically, it features direct links to indicators of compromise, detection rules, and MITRE ATT&CK techniques. Users can now perform a single-click drill-down into specific threat actors and malware families.

Furthermore, analysts can investigate Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures across diverse geographies and industries. This integration helps teams quickly determine if a specific indicator is linked to an active threat. As a result, organizations can protect their computers and digital assets more efficiently.

Advanced Threat Intelligence Reporting Features

The updated Threat Intelligence Reporting service delivers more than 200 in-depth analysis reports annually. These insights are compiled by Kaspersky’s Global Research and Analysis Team. Additionally, the Industrial Control Systems Cyber Emergency Response Team contributes to these reports.

The research experts continuously track more than 900 threat actors and campaigns. Notably, the service supports customized content discovery through specific filters. Users can apply filters for geography, industry, and apps to retrieve relevant reports.

Geographic Filtering and Analysis

Smart geo-filtering simplifies investigations by prioritizing content explicitly mentioning a selected country. This feature is followed by broader regional intelligence to give analysts a complete geographic view. Consequently, security teams can focus on threats relevant to their specific location.

In addition, the portal provides access to recent incident investigation reports. Some of these reports do not have public disclosure. Therefore, security analysts can understand the nature of an attack before it spreads.

Future Security Operations

Organizations use Threat Intelligence Reporting to identify active campaigns and mitigate risks. The company stated that the update focuses on refining the customer experience. Specifically, it optimizes active investigation and proactive incident monitoring.

“We focused on refining the customer experience by optimizing processes of active investigation, proactive incident monitoring and detailed mitigation techniques.”

Alexander Mazikin, Head of Threat Intelligence Product Line at Kaspersky

This initiative aims to assist cybersecurity teams in their daily work. By providing actionable intelligence, the portal helps organizations maintain operational stability. Meanwhile, Kaspersky continues to track emerging threats globally.
