Hyundai Motor Middle East & Africa has introduced an initiative highlighting the Total Cost of Ownership to help drivers evaluate long-term expenses before purchasing a car.

The regional program, titled Your Perfect Partner, rolls out across multiple countries in the Middle East and Africa. In recent months, regional drivers have prioritized long-term vehicle economics over initial sticker prices in the automotive sector.

Six Core Pillars of Total Cost of Ownership

The initiative highlights six specific factors that define vehicle expenses over several years of use. These components include genuine parts, manufacturing build quality, manufacturer warranty, fuel efficiency, maintenance service standards, and vehicle resale value.

Together, these elements demonstrate how vehicle value develops throughout its working lifespan rather than ending at the point of sale. Consequently, buyers can review operational expenses alongside the broader economy of vehicle maintenance.

Educational Content and Digital Tools

The year-long campaign incorporates informational videos, digital content, and collaborations with regional creators. Drivers can also interact with digital tools through apps and web platforms to calculate expenses, compare car specifications, and schedule test drives.

“For many drivers, the price of a vehicle is only the beginning of the ownership story. What matters over time is how that vehicle supports their daily life, how reliable it is, how easy it is to maintain, and how much value it continues to deliver. Through Your Perfect Partner, we want to make Total Cost of Ownership easier to understand and more relevant to everyday customers. By looking at the complete ownership journey, we are helping customers to make more confident decisions based on long-term value rather than short-term cost alone.”

Long-Term Value in Vehicle Selection

Car buyers frequently evaluate vehicles based solely on showroom price tags. However, regular maintenance schedules, fuel consumption rates, and depreciation significantly alter true financial commitments over five to ten years.

By presenting everyday scenarios, the program draws parallels between ordinary financial decisions and car purchasing choices. The company stated that understanding Total Cost of Ownership allows consumers to select models that deliver sustained reliability over extended driving periods.
