ZTE broadband monetization solutions were presented at the ABRINT Global Congress 2026 in São Paulo, Brazil, from May 6 to 8. ZTE Corporation demonstrated solutions designed to help internet service providers and telecom operators transition into comprehensive digital service providers.
Leo Lu, Vice President of ZTE and President of ZTE Brazil, stated that Brazil remains a highly dynamic broadband market with strong growth potential. The company has worked with more than one thousand ISPs to promote large-scale FTTx deployment across the country.
ZTE Broadband Monetization Through Network Evolution
ZTE’s strategy centers on supporting ISPs in transitioning from traditional connectivity providers to integrated digital service providers. The company highlighted its FTTR-B, or Fiber to the Room for Business, solution designed for enterprise scenarios including small and medium enterprises, commercial environments, and industrial parks.
Additionally, ZTE provided intelligent experience management and precision marketing solutions based on user profiling and behavioral analytics. These tools enable operators to enhance customer engagement, improve retention, and increase average revenue per user, commonly referred to as ARPU.
Core Technologies and Infrastructure Modernization
ZTE continues to advance core broadband technologies, including 10G PON and fully optical networks. In the transport domain, the company introduced its Light OTN solution, which addresses cost-sensitive operators while maintaining high efficiency and scalability. The solution enables simplified deployment, plug-and-play operation, and flexible capacity expansion aligned with traffic growth.
Within the IP network domain, ZTE presented a converged architecture aimed at streamlining multi-layer network operations. The solution reduces operations and maintenance complexity, accelerates service rollout, supports automated service migration, and provides readiness for 800GE.
Expanding Services: Wi-Fi 7, Computing, and Energy Solutions
ZTE showcased its latest Wi-Fi 7 solutions for both residential and enterprise applications, alongside advanced server infrastructure and edge data center solutions. Leveraging local manufacturing and supply chain capabilities in Brazil, ZTE optimizes delivery efficiency and reduces operational costs.
These capabilities enable ISPs to expand into higher-value services, including cloud computing, localized content delivery, video services, and AI-driven applications. ZTE is accelerating its strategic transition from traditional connectivity toward connectivity combined with computing, empowering customers to evolve into comprehensive digital service providers.
The company also presented integrated energy solutions, including power systems and energy storage for telecom sites, data centers, and edge nodes. These solutions combine photovoltaic generation, energy storage, and intelligent energy management, contributing to improved energy efficiency, cost optimization, and operational resilience.
Industry Collaboration and Future Outlook
During the event, ZTE hosted an industry engagement session to exchange insights with ecosystem partners. Key topics included ISP business transformation, revenue growth through FTTR-B, cloud and computing integration, Wi-Fi 7 deployment, and cost optimization through lightweight network architectures.
Lu concluded that ZTE will continue to strengthen its presence in Brazil and collaboration with industry partners. The company aims to build fully optical, intelligent, and sustainable networks to support the development of the digital economy in the AI era.
