Cequence Security today announced the launch of the Cequence Intent Graph alongside Biometric Check to protect enterprises from automated bot traffic. These new capabilities provide behavioral detection and human verification across web, mobile, API, and agentic AI channels. Consequently, organizations can secure their digital assets without relying on traditional client-side signals.

Traditional bot defense mechanisms rely heavily on browser signals such as CAPTCHAs, JavaScript puzzles, and device fingerprints. However, modern attackers use real browsers through proxy networks to bypass these client-side challenges. Meanwhile, automated traffic now accounts for more than half of all global web requests.

During a recent enterprise deployment, the Cequence Intent Graph blocked ten distinct attack iterations over two days. Notably, the system stopped these rotating proxy attacks without presenting any challenges to legitimate customers.

Biometric Check for Human Verification

In addition to behavioral mapping, the company introduced Biometric Check to replace traditional verification methods. This feature uses hardware-bound cryptographic attestation through a device’s secure enclave. Consequently, users can verify their identity in less than a second using Touch ID, Face ID, or Windows Hello.
