The device served as the core supporting mechanism for a zipline crossing, holding the weight of a person traversing a lake. The test aimed to showcase the phone’s durability despite its ultra-slim profile.

The phone features a 2800MPa HONOR Super Steel hinge, which the company describes as the strongest special steel introduced in the commercial sector. The hinge design combines high-performance materials with engineering techniques to maintain structural integrity while keeping the device thin.
