HONOR Magic V6, the company’s latest foldable smartphone, made its global debut at MWC 2026 in Barcelona on March 1, 2026, alongside the Robot Phone concept device, a humanoid robot, and two new ecosystem products. The announcements form part of HONOR’s Augmented Human Intelligence (AHI) strategy, which the company is advancing through three pillars: Alpha Phone, Alpha Store, and Alpha Lab.

James Li, CEO of HONOR, said: “With Human-centric as our lighthouse, we navigate the growth of artificial intelligence through the two beams of IQ and EQ, bringing three forms of intelligence together. We are exploring the new paradigm of AI devices with Alpha Phone; hosting the new paradigm of AI ecosystem with Alpha Store; and building the new paradigm of a silicon-carbon civilization with Alpha Lab.”

HONOR Magic V6: Foldable Specifications and Battery Technology

HONOR Magic V6 measures 8.75mm when closed and carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. The device runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, making it the first foldable to use that chip, paired with a vapor chamber cooling system for sustained performance under demanding workloads.

The foldable integrates a 6,660mAh silicon-carbon battery developed in partnership with ATL. HONOR said the fifth-generation silicon-carbon material achieves 25% silicon content, a first for the industry, enabling higher energy density within an ultra-thin form factor. Moreover, HONOR demonstrated the Silicon-carbon Blade Battery at MWC 2026, featuring 32% silicon content and over 900 Wh/L energy density, designed to support foldables reaching 7,000mAh capacity.

Magic V6 features dual LTPO 2.0 displays: a 6.52-inch external screen and a 7.95-inch inner display, both supporting adaptive 1–120Hz refresh rates. Peak brightness reaches 6,000 nits on the external panel and 5,000 nits on the inner panel for HDR content. The inner display uses ultra-thin flexible glass with SGS Minimized Crease Certification and a 44% reduction in crease depth compared to the previous generation. A silicon nitride-based anti-reflection stack reduces reflectivity to 1.5%, while 4320Hz PWM dimming and AI Defocus Display aim to reduce eye strain during extended use.

Robot Phone: Embodied AI Concept Device

The Robot Phone is a concept mobile device that integrates a self-developed micro motor and an ultra-compact four-degree-of-freedom (4DoF) gimbal system. This mechanical architecture supports three-axis gimbal stabilization, enabling the device to move its camera independently of the body. HONOR said the engineering draws on materials and reliability methods developed for its foldable lineup.

The device is built around a 200MP sensor. AI Object Tracking allows the camera to follow subjects in real time, while AI SpinShot supports 90° and 180° rotational movements for cinematic transitions. Super Steady Video mode addresses stability in high-movement scenarios. Additionally, the Robot Phone supports all-angle AI video calling and responds with physical gestures, including head nods and head shakes, and can move to music.

Multimodal perception enables the Robot Phone to identify sounds, track motion, and maintain visual awareness simultaneously. HONOR positioned the device as an exploration of how embodied artificial intelligence may shape future smartphone interaction models, rather than a product with confirmed availability.

MagicPad 4 and MagicBook Pro 14 Join the Ecosystem

HONOR also introduced the MagicPad 4 tablet and MagicBook Pro 14 laptop at MWC 2026. The MagicPad 4 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 mobile platform and features a 12.3-inch 3K OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, housed in a 4.8mm-thin body. Cross-device collaboration tools enable the tablet to work alongside smartphones and multi-platform environments, including Apple’s ecosystem. HONOR said the Linux Lab environment in Developer Options allows the OpenClaw AI assistant to run on the MagicPad 4.

The MagicBook Pro 14 is powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and features a 14.6-inch color-accurate OLED display. HONOR described the laptop as designed for sustained workloads, creative tasks, and everyday efficiency, with an emphasis on portability through its lightweight build. Furthermore, both devices extend HONOR’s strategy of integrating AI capabilities across product categories beyond smartphones.

Humanoid Robot and Availability Details

HONOR unveiled its first humanoid robot at MWC 2026, targeting three use cases: shopping assistance, workplace inspections, and personal companionship. The company said its background in smart devices and connected hardware enables the robot to recognize users and provide personalized assistance from the first interaction.

HONOR Magic V6 will be available in select markets in the second half of 2026, with regional pricing and color options to be confirmed locally. HONOR MagicPad 4 will be available in Grey and White, starting at €699, with regional availability and promotional bundles varying by market.
