KONE customer support in Saudi Arabia has been expanded following the official inauguration of an enhanced Customer Service Center in Jeddah.

The facility combines customer experience technology with locally based professionals to provide around-the-clock assistance. Consequently, this development aims to provide fast and reliable access to expert support across the Kingdom.

Expansion of KONE Customer Support

The center provides 24/7 phone support for service requests, maintenance inquiries, and equipment-related assistance. Notably, the facility is staffed by local professionals who offer services in both Arabic and English. During 2025, the center managed approximately 11,000 customer interactions, which demonstrates the scale of its operations in the region. In addition, the center serves residential buildings, commercial properties, and major developments.

Operational Capabilities and Performance Targets

To manage these interactions efficiently, the center utilizes intelligent call management systems. These systems connect callers with the appropriate technical experts. Furthermore, the company has established a target to answer incoming customer calls within 20 seconds. This operational goal helps resolve issues faster, minimizes disruptions, and maintains the safe flow of people.

“The real measure of customer service is not simply how quickly we respond – it’s the confidence our customers have that they’ll receive the same level of expertise, responsiveness and care every time they engage with KONE,”

Haidar Alhartani, Managing Director of KONE Saudi Arabia

Regional Infrastructure and Urban Growth

This expansion aligns with broader developments in the Saudi economy, where infrastructure projects are growing rapidly. As cities expand, the demand for reliable building services and vertical transportation increases. Therefore, KONE customer support plays a role in maintaining the flow of people in residential and commercial properties.

The company operates globally, moving two billion people daily. In 2025, the global entity recorded annual sales of EUR 11.2 billion. At the end of that year, the organization employed over 60,000 people across nearly 70 countries. Consequently, the Jeddah center benefits from this global operational experience.

Future Outlook for Building Services

Looking ahead, the company plans to continue its efforts to strengthen service delivery across the country. As urban transformation continues under Saudi Vision 2030, efficient building management becomes increasingly important. KONE customer support will focus on maintaining safe and sustainable people flow in landmark developments.
