LG Electronics has expanded its commercial portfolio with the global launch of the LG Professional Laundry lineup.
Introduction of the LG Professional Laundry Lineup
This new commercial collection offers business partners in retail, hospitality, and healthcare an integrated system. Consequently, the products are debuting in Europe this month, with subsequent rollouts planned for Asia and North America.
The system is designed to improve operational efficiency in commercial settings by offering large-capacity washers and dryers. Specifically, the washer-dryer unit can complete a full wash and dry cycle in approximately one hour, based on an IEC standard seven-kilogram load. Furthermore, this unit uses artificial intelligence weight detection to optimize water and energy use according to the load size.
Meanwhile, the integrated dual inverter heat pump enables energy-efficient drying at lower temperatures. In addition, the ductless design eliminates the need for complex ductwork installation. As a result, business owners can reduce their installation and maintenance overheads while enjoying greater installation flexibility.
Core Technologies for Commercial Efficiency
The machinery incorporates several advanced systems to maintain stable performance under heavy workloads. For instance, the dynamic ball-core system uses a built-in gyro sensor to detect drum imbalances in real time. Subsequently, a ball balancer stabilizes the load to minimize vibrations during high-speed spins of up to 1,100 RPM.
This high-speed spin capability improves water extraction from fabrics. Consequently, it reduces overall drying time and energy consumption. Moreover, the system operates with reduced noise levels, which is beneficial for quiet commercial environments.
Fabric Protection and Operational Reliability
To prevent fabric damage, the dryers utilize sensor technology to adjust drying times. Specifically, the system uses model-specific sensor data and algorithms to detect moisture levels. Therefore, it prevents over-drying and helps preserve garments and linens over multiple cycles.
Additionally, the wet cleaning system provides specialized care for delicate fabrics. This process begins with a gentle wash cycle. Afterward, it completes the process with a protective, low-temperature drying cycle that uses precise drum movements.
Digital Management and Maintenance Features
The LG Professional Laundry solutions are engineered for durability and ease of maintenance. For example, the front service ready design provides direct access to key internal components. Thus, technicians can perform servicing quickly, which reduces operational downtime for businesses.
Furthermore, the system includes automatic cleaning features to maintain hygiene. The heat exchanger cleaning assist automatically rinses the heat exchanger after each cycle. Meanwhile, the tub clean cycle reduces 99.9999 percent of bacteria in the washer drum, as verified by Intertek.
Operators can manage these machines using a circular seven-inch LCD touch display. Additionally, the LaundryCrew mobile application enables remote monitoring of equipment status and operational data. Finally, businesses can integrate the open API with their existing management systems to build customized platforms.
“The LG Professional Laundry lineup is designed to enhance the efficiency and cost effectiveness of commercial laundry operations. By combining our AI-powered washing and drying technologies with our advanced core tech and comprehensive support services, we are providing our B2B partners with solutions that support business growth.”
