VITEC has partnered with LG Electronics to deliver IPTV and digital signage over **private 5G networks**. Consequently, this strategic alliance pairs VITEC’s existing technology with LG Electronics’s network expertise to deliver video for enterprise environments.

The integrated technology solution enables organizations to deploy IPTV and digital signage without wired connections over telecommunications infrastructure. Meanwhile, users can add screens without network drops, support temporary installations, and extend existing systems to new areas. As a result, venues can avoid costly cabling.

The Integration of IPTV and Private 5G Networks

This combined solution gives large-scale venues flexibility to deploy video systems without the constraints of physical cables. Specifically, Eli Garten from VITEC stated that video performance has traditionally been a limiting factor over wireless networks. However, this integration aims to deliver low latency streaming and reliability.

Key Benefits for Large Venues

The technology is suited for sports and entertainment venues, airports, conference centers, hotels, and casinos. Furthermore, the integration of VITEC’s platforms with LG Electronics’s solution includes on-site core infrastructure and distributed antennas. In addition, centralized software helps operators control the entire system.

Technical Advantages Over Wi-Fi

Unlike Wi-Fi, which operates on shared spectrum and can suffer from interference, **private 5G networks** provide a consistent environment. Notably, these cellular networks operate on licensed spectrum, giving organizations greater control over performance and security. Therefore, the technology offers greater range and improved penetration through walls.

Demonstration at InfoComm 2026

The companies will jointly demonstrate the technology in the United States at the InfoComm 2026 trade show. Specifically, the event takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada, from June 17 to June 19. Meanwhile, a live network will deliver video content across the show floor at VITEC Booth C9257.

Joon Sung Lee from LG Electronics stated that while **private 5G networks** are adopted in manufacturing and healthcare, enterprise video remains at an early stage. Consequently, this partnership aims to accelerate adoption by showing how these systems operate together. Ultimately, the solution is based on the integration of two existing, commercially available technologies.

As organizations seek flexible AV deployments, the demand for wireless video distribution continues to grow. Indeed, this collaboration represents a step toward replacing traditional cabling in complex environments. As a result, both companies plan to continue testing and refining their integrated offerings for global markets.
