ROX announced a strategic agreement with KEZAD Group to establish the Middle East’s first AI Manufacturing Centre in Abu Dhabi, supporting the UAE’s ambition to become a global hub for intelligent manufacturing and exports.
The partnership was revealed during Make it in the Emirates 2026. ROX, a global technology company focused on luxury all-terrain SUVs, will develop the facility in collaboration with KEZAD Group, which operates integrated economic zones across the UAE. The Advanced AI Manufacturing Centre will leverage KEZAD’s world-class industrial infrastructure and multimodal logistics network.
Operational Timeline and Production Goals
The Advanced AI Manufacturing Centre is scheduled to begin operations in the second half of 2026. By 2030, the facility targets an annual production capacity of 300,000 vehicles. According to the agreement, the centre has the potential to contribute up to 10% to the UAE’s Operation 300Bn initiative, which focuses on economic diversification and industrial growth.
Regional Export and Supply Chain Strategy
Once operational, the facility will support vehicle production and export across the Middle East and global markets. The manufacturing capabilities will be scalable and intelligent, designed to serve as part of ROX’s integrated industrial system anchored in Abu Dhabi. The operation connects the full value chain across the MENA region, supporting broader supply chain expansion around the company’s manufacturing footprint.
Jarvis, Founder and CEO of ROX, said the agreement brings advanced manufacturing capabilities to Abu Dhabi while positioning the emirate as a globally connected hub. He added that the company is developing an AI-driven industrial ecosystem that aligns with the UAE’s long-term development ambitions.
KEZAD’s Role in Industrial Growth
Abdullah Al Hameli, CEO of Economic Cities and Free Zones at AD Ports Group, noted that the agreement reflects KEZAD’s role in attracting high-quality investments to Abu Dhabi. KEZAD operates 12 economic zones across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra Region, plus an industrial zone in Egypt, covering a total area of 570 square kilometres. The group provides strategic market access, competitive operating costs, and ease of doing business to more than 2,300 investors across 17 industrial sectors.
Integration with ROX’s Regional Expansion
The AI Manufacturing Centre marks another milestone in ROX’s development across the UAE. The company previously established its global headquarters in Abu Dhabi and a regional parts hub in Dubai. This facility expands ROX’s integrated industrial system, connecting strategic headquarters positioning, after-sales infrastructure, and intelligent manufacturing capabilities. The initiative supports the broader goal of strengthening global competitiveness for products positioned as made in the Emirates.
