Sony WF-1000XM6 wireless earbuds are now available in Saudi Arabia, featuring a 25% reduction in noise compared to the previous model. The company announced the launch on February 13, 2026, alongside a new Sand Pink color option for the WH-1000XM6 headphones.

Advanced Noise Cancellation Technology

The Sony WF-1000XM6 achieves noise reduction through the HD Noise Cancelling Processor QN3e and Integrated Processor V2. The earbuds feature four microphones on each side, an increase from three in the WF-1000XM5 model. The Adaptive Noise Cancelling Optimiser analyzes external noise and wearing conditions in real time.

The earbuds perform particularly well in mid-to-high frequency ranges, which are common in everyday environments such as vehicles and cafés. Sony’s Noise Isolation Earbud Tips are available in four sizes to accommodate different ear shapes.

Audio Quality and Processing

The WF-1000XM6 uses two processors working together to deliver audio clarity. The QN3e processor enhances DAC amplifier performance, while the Integrated Processor V2 supports 32-bit processing, compared to 24-bit in the previous model. The newly developed driver unit combines different materials for the dome and edge, producing deep bass and clear high frequencies.

Sony collaborated with Grammy-winning and Grammy-nominated engineers during development. The team included Randy Merrill from Sterling Sound, Chris Gehringer who worked with Rihanna and Lady Gaga, Mike Piacentini from Battery Studios, and Michael Romanowski from Coast Mastering. The earbuds support Hi-Res Audio Wireless, DSEE Extreme, and 360 Reality Audio compatibility.

Call Quality and Connectivity

Each earbud contains two microphones and a bone conduction sensor. The system uses an AI beamforming noise reduction algorithm to isolate speech from background noise. The earbuds feature antennas that are 1.5 times larger than the previous model, improving connectivity across different environments.

“The WF-1000XM6 has been designed to achieve the premium sound just as the artists intended – rich, detailed and true to its original spirit,”

Design and Battery Performance

The earbuds are approximately 11% slimmer than the WF-1000XM5 model. The redesigned shape follows the natural curves of the inner ear to reduce discomfort during extended use. A new ventilation structure increases airflow within the device, reducing internal noises such as footsteps and chewing sounds.

Battery life extends up to 8 hours on a single charge and up to 24 hours with the charging case. The earbuds support Qi wireless charging technology. The product uses approximately 25% circular material in the plastics, and the packaging is plastic-free.

Availability and Pricing

The WF-1000XM6 will be available in Black and Platinum Silver colors starting March 11, 2026. The WH-1000XM6 headphones in Sand Pink will also launch on the same date. Modern Electronics, the exclusive Sony distributor in Saudi Arabia, operates 11 Sony World stores across the Kingdom and provides after-sales services.

The earbuds are ready for LE Audio, a Bluetooth audio technology that enables ultra-low latency for gaming applications. Google Gemini integration allows hands-free voice assistance for music playback, notifications, and calendar management without touching the phone.
